With my love for xiao long bao, and to see this monstrosity on Bourdain's show, I have been looking forward to your posting since BEFORE you left the States. I've actually been to that part of Shanghai before. If I knew about XLB back then, I definitely would have tried it. Really too bad about the skin being thick and doughy, but even worse, crab shell in the XLB. The large Tang Bao sounds hen hao chi, though!
