Just got back from Taipei and very glad to be back. I'll be documenting the trip over the next week or two, but just wanted to let you know the first meal I had to eat when I got back to the U S of A. Meatball slice (pizza for the non-North Easterners) and buffalo wings...Porthos stopped over to join for lunchinner and obviously he brought over a glorious Japanese wagyu ribeye. It was so f'n wonderful, 30 seconds on one side over high heat and that's it. Maybe, my best steak memory in the last 3 years - better than steaks I've had at Porterhouse and other steak joints.
