The BACONATOR

FYI - courtesy post for the "Man" in you.

Wendy's currently has this burger called the "Baconator".
It's pretty much self explanatory.
A double beef patty (netting 1/2 pounds) with cheese slices slapped on each patty. Then "6"strips of bacon laid on top and nestled in between some soft and moist Wendy's buns. There's also a little mayo squeezed in there for good measure.

We had this conversation already, but I thought I'd post on here. You engraved this in my mind last night, so I picked on up this morning. (Yes, morning - at 10:15 ;-) ). It was decent, but my fave is still McD's Double Quarter-Pounder w/cheese (extra pickles, please). I enjoyed the cheese content and how it oozed out from being melted. I thought it was cheese sauce initially, but I happy to see it wasn't. What was bad for me was the amount of ketchup on there, which I'm not a fan of to begin with. And then the bacon was so limp and soft. Making it crispy would skyrocket it towards the top of my fave chain burgers (not including places like In & Out, Culver's, Red Robin, etc.), since I can simply request no ketchup.

Yeah, I'll go back for another...
