Bahamian Beers

During my stay in the Bahamas, I tried to imbibe as much as I could on the local brews.

Kalik - Best of the bunch. Clearly more enjoyable than a Corona.
I could taste a good balance of barley and hops. Pretty well crafted.










Strong Back Stout - Did not enjoy because of high metallic aftertaste.
The metallic aftertaste is pretty nasty.
Not much malt flavor either, even for being an extremely dark coffee color stout.
I suspect the malts are overly roasted here. Not impressive at all.







Sand's - OK beer. But would not order again.
I'd rather order a Kalik over this any day.
No need to sip on a Heineken knock-off.
