Rai Rai Ken

I've been wanting to go to this barebones ramen shop for years. Located and operated for years in the east village, this ramen shop is quite famous.
And finally last week, I went there with a coworker of mine. They got the looks of the place down to a tee. It looks and smells like your average ramen shop in Japan. They are usually situated next to a train station for the folks who need to grab that 10 minute meal before their train comes. But looks is one thing, taste is another.
Unfortunately, my bowl of Shin Ramen sitting in my desk tastes better than what I ordered.
Save your money or get a slice of pizza around the corner.
I will never go back there again.
Miso Ramen - terrible
Gyoza - below average
