Pig Dinner at Hearth

Here's a letter from Hearth and I thought I'd forward to all you pork lovers out there...

Dear Porthos,

Worldwide, pig roasts are held to bring together friends and family in the spirit of celebration.  From Hawaii to Cuba, the Philippines to China, the pig roast is all about community and merriment...not to mention, they are downright delicious.  And now, they’re coming to the East Village...

At the hands of Marco Canora and Paul Grieco, we’re pleased to kick off the summer season by inviting you to join us in the rollicking festivities on Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00 pm at Hearth.  In our fashion of only bringing the freshest, most seasonal food to the table, we’ll be slow-roasting an organically raised, locally-sourced pig which Marco will carve table-side while Paul pours some of his favorite wines and beer.  Together, let’s unite over this most celebrated tradition and fill our bellies with life’s finest pleasures.

The details:

  • $42 per person for 3 courses (seasonal salad, pig and dessert)
  • + $18 for beverages (there will be a wine option and a beer option)

To reserve a seat, please call the restaurant (646-602-1300) or e-mail Paul at pgrieco@restauranthearth.com and provide a credit card to secure your reservation.  (The cost for each dinner does not include tax & gratuity)
