burgers at Julius'

Julius'

(Northwest corner of 10W and Waverly)

went there for a quick bite tonight with a colleague.
burgers were about 8oz if not 10oz.
really flavorful, beefy, juicy and big.
i asked for medium rare but instead got medium well. normally, i would not accept it and send it back, but for some reason, this burger smelled so good that i just had to take a bite and boy was i glad i did. i really think they grind and make their own burger patties here because this thing had Flaaaaaa-Vah. but the $4 price tag says otherwise. either way, it's a good burger.

sidenote : the place is quite the gay bar.
and when i say gay, gay as in, a bunch of old gay dudes hugging and kissing each other while listening to judy garland.

so the question is.... would i go back again for their burgers?
answer : yes
probably next time just for lunch.... where there are less people to bother me while i'm eating.

i'm not sure if it was because i wore a pink brooks brothers button-down shirt with polo khakis or what... but apparently it means : come over and talk to me boys, 'cause i'm single and thinking about ordering some sausage for dessert.
WHATZ!? (o_o)
