Sunday Brunch : Egg en Cocotte

I remember even as a little kid, I always looked forward to Saturday mornings because my mom would always make sunny-side-up eggs for breakfast.
I would always eat around the yolk and finish the whites first.

Then balance the soft yolk on my fork and devour the runny yolk in one bite. I loved and still love runny eggs.
Today was no exception. My wife and I went to a place in the upper east side called La Goulue and feasted on brunch with Aramis. We spent the quiet hours of noon time eating and talking about how nice it would be to live in this neighborhood.

This Egg en Cocotte was marvelous.

Ratatouille, Sunny-side-up egg, Tapenade, and Toast
