Here's my 2 cents following Porthos's article about the NYC Michelin 2009 Ratings. Below are the actual ratings snagged from Eater.com. Massive disagreements for me include exclusion of Daniel in the three star category and the inclusion of Le Bernardin. Also, ridiculous how Sushi Yasuda gets excluded when they mention other sushi joints in the city. And funny how a dump like the Salted Pig (aka the Spotted Pig) gets included with the likes of Aureole and Gramercy Tavern. Any who, restaurants are like football teams, when you can get a different experience with a team any given sunday...or any day of the week. Also, like most movie reviews, you either agree with a critic or not. Hopefully, we give you enough information in our reviews where you can choose to agree or disagree with us. With Michelin you get the star rating and the 3 sentence blurb which tells you nothing.
