Ham-Bah-Gah

The Japanese love incorporating foreign words into their vocabulary.
And burgers are no exception.
Ham-Bah-Gah = Hamburger

If you were to poll 100 people randomly off the streets of Tokyo, I'd fare to say 75 of them would say their favorite fast food hamburger joint is "Mos Burger".
I never had one so I stopped in for a burger yesterday.
Below is picture of their "Double Mos Burger".

I gotta hand it to the Japanese. For less than $5 , they made a really delicious burger. And it actually came out looking really similar to their print ads as well. Something you could never find in the States.

The patties definitely have eggs, milk and breadcrumbs in them. They're super soft and fluffy, and the buns are fluffy just like the patty. There's also a huge slice of a beefsteak tomato wedged in there... which actually had flavor. And the accompanying onion sauce and mayo made for the "toro-toro" (aka Gooey) texture the Japanese love so much.
The burgers are cooked to order, so it took 6 whole minutes.

One other extremely shocking fact was that everything in the burger is meticulously logged and traceable to it's roots. The veggies were advertised in the store saying they were from a specific farm from a specific prefecture.
The meat is also categorized from the processing plant and logged accordingly.

McDonald's on the other hand... Not quite.
Great menu below. Can't wait to get my hands on more Mos Burgers.

The burger really doesn't look good. Looks almost like the soiny, plastic food examples in front of a Japanese restaurant

Trust me my friend... if you took a bite out of one of these, you'd order 5 more.
