At times, I will wake up particularly early, or stay up late to make my wife's Bento Lunch.
Tonight was one of those nights.
I was playing around with recipes for an upcoming event, and while the kitchen was already in full use, I thought I'd put something together for the wife.
We have crisped pork belly pieces, pickled cucumber, umeboshi, semi-hard boiled egg, shio konbu, scallions all on top of red snapper steamed rice (tai-meshi).
Hope she likes it.
