Breakfast in the China Hotels

Normally I would never eat breakfast in hotels, but the hotels on these tours were generally far away from any place to explore and it was paid for as part of the tours. Some places were better than others and it was quite comforting having things like Congee for breakfast in the morning. They also served Dim Sum, Fried Rice, Fried Noodles, Sushi, Pumpkin, and Vegetables as well as the standard American/English Breakfast of eggs, bacon, and sausage. What we learned is don’t treat this like a buffet in Vegas otherwise you’ll end up being stuffed for the rest of the day. Here's a collection of some of the breakfast throughout the trip...

Great pix on the food! Though I'm not sure what they all are... like the last one. Looks very interesting, like a congee with "extras." And I'm not even a big fan of xi fan.

Xi fan or zhou topped with peanuts, fried dough, and pork threads. The most interesting thing was the steamed pumpkin which I dug a lot...
