Homemade Green Onion Bread

Over the xmas break, we visited my wife's dad's cousin's neighbor in Vancouver...seriously. Any who, to welcome us to Vancouver he made some homemade Hwah Jwen - basically a green onion bun. This thing was ridonkulous - airy, fluffy, beautifully multi-layered, with a great onion and salt flavor.
