When I was asked, "Is Sushi OK for Lunch?"
I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
I immediately replied, "Um, Yes Please!"
This was a great reminder of why I love Japan.
I'm in rural Japan. 2 hours away from Tokyo, in Gunma Prefecture. Learning first hand how sake is made by a pretty darn talented "Toji" (Brew Master).
All I can say is, these guys are INTENSE.
I don't want to take anything away from the great opportunity I had learning how sake is made, and also getting my hands dirty with the rest of the fellas in the brewery, but man, the sushi was just incredible and hit the spot!
Great Sake, Great Sushi, Great People. What more can you ask for?
