World’s Hottest Pepper

You'd think the Naga Viper pepper would be from Mexico, India, Thailand, or some place that's known for spicy food, right? Nope; it's on the farm of a British farmer who crossed three other hot peppers to make this. Here's a quote from the farmer:

"It numbs your tongue, then burns all the way down," he told the paper. "It can last an hour, and you just don't want to talk to anyone or do anything. But it's a marvelous endorphin rush. It makes you feel great."
