Expecting my first ever Fresh Direct delivery Tuesday.
Not sure what to make of this Cyber-Age we're living in right now.
Shopping for goods done by a mouse and keyboard just doesn't seem right.
With this example, I'm not 100% convinced technology has really benefitted us.
But then, if it weren't for "the internets", this blog wouldn't exist.
We will see how it fairs with shopping at the super-market.

Holy crap. The delivery came like they said they would and also on time.
Everything I ordered arrived in the 4 neatly packed boxes and all the products were very fresh and undamaged.
I have to say, I am very impressed and will be a repeat customer.
I didn't tip the delivery guy since I wasn't going to make him wait while I examined the goods.. But will make sure to tip him next time he makes a delivery.
Good job Fresh Direct!
Tried the Ribeye from FreshDirect today. Not impressed.
It was quite bland and not much in the texture department either.
My guess is FreshDirect is getting their meats from either MasterPurveyors or WestConn. Both commodity meat guys in the city.
Damn it guys, stop raising shitty beef and let's get with the program.
FreshDirect sells way too much meat to deal with distributors. They buy direct from Tyson, IBP, Buckhead, Smithfield, Freebird, Coleman, etc. All meat is wet aged for at least month.
