My new favorite pasta...

I'm always on the lookout for the best pasta to get and I've found my new favorite supermarket pasta - Colavita. Yes, this is the same people that make decent olive oil. I used to swear by Barilla, then De Cecco, but this is head and shoulders above in my opinion.

The texture of Colavita's pasta is phenomenal with a great chewy al denteness and a somewhat silky texture at the same time. Barilla has decent texture and De Cecco has even better with better flavor, but Colavita takes the cake for me. I've tried the penne and the spaghetti and both blew me away - really phenomenal with any sauce. I can't wait to try some more...
